Ingredients
400g (14 oz) spaghetti pastamake it yourself
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
250g (9 oz) ground beef
1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basilmake it yourself
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.

Add ground beef to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.

Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve the sauce over the cooked spaghetti and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
