recipe-repository.com helps you figure out what to cook with what you already have. Pick 3 to 5 ingredients from your kitchen and the site finds — or generates — a recipe that uses them.
No wasted food, no extra shopping. Just cook what you have.
When you select ingredients, the site first searches its recipe collection for a strong match. If nothing fits well enough, it generates a new recipe on the spot using an AI language model, then adds it to the collection so others can find it too.
Recipes are reviewed and enriched over time — matched to their ingredients, given a photo, and made searchable. The collection grows with every search.
The site has separate editions for different cuisines and languages. The Portuguese edition covers everyday home cooking from Portugal. The Brazilian edition focuses on Brazilian flavours and pantry staples. More editions may follow.
Every recipe page has an "I cooked this!" button. If you make a recipe, you can upload a photo, leave a rating, and tell us how it went. Photos are reviewed before they appear.
If you changed something — different ingredients, a tweaked method — you can share that too. Approved changes become part of the recipe or a new fork in the collection. The goal is a recipe library built from real kitchens.
This is a side project by Bruno, built out of the frustration of standing in front of a full fridge and not knowing what to cook.
It started simply: asking an AI directly in chat, sharing a list of ingredients and getting recipe suggestions. The results were surprisingly good. That spark turned into this — a collaborative site that builds a shared recipe collection with every search.
This is an evolving product. Suggestions and feedback are always welcome by email. contact@recipe-repository.com
