Ingredients
1 lb ground beef or lamb

1 large onion, chopped

2 carrots, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup frozen peas

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 cup beef or vegetable broth

4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed

4 tablespoons butter
→
0.5 cup milk
→
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and carrots; cook until softened.

Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Stir in ground beef or lamb and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Mix in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

Pour in broth, bring to a simmer, and cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 10 minutes.
